Submission Template

README

  1. File Format: Save and submit as .docx only. Do not submit PDFs.
  2. Blind Review (Track A Only): For Flagship Articles, you must submit two files:
    • File 1 (Title Page and Manuscript): Contains author name, affiliation, and bio. Contains the article text.
  3. Citations:
    • Use Footnotes (References > Insert Footnote).
    • Numbering must be continuous (1, 2, 3…) throughout the document.
    • No “ibid.” or “op. cit.” Repeat full details or use a short title.
  4. Hyperlinks:
    • Do not use hyperlinks within the text. Word often automatically turns URLs blue.
    • To remove: Right-click the link > Select “Remove Hyperlink.” The text should remain black.
  5. Urdu Submissions:
    • If submitting in Urdu, use Chicago Author-Date for in-text citations (e.g., Khan 2024, 45) instead of numbered footnotes.
    • English Title and Abstract are still mandatory.
  6. Non-Digitized Sources:
    • If citing archival material not available online, you must upload a scan/photo of the source to a repository upon acceptance and provide stable URLs.
